Abstract

The Gross Regional Domestic Product (GDP) publication presents a descriptive review of the economic development of Malang Regency. GDP is one of the macro indicators used for regional development evaluation and planning. The preparation of the GDP in 2000 is calculated within the scope of Malang Regency and the Development Area Sub-Unit (SSWP) as many as 5 sub-regional units.From the GDP figures, it can be known the economic growth rate, the productivity level of a region, the inflation and deflation rates as well as an overview of the economic structure of the Malang Regency area
