Socialization of Beautiful Village and Development of Statistical Literacy

BPS Malang Regency carried out a socialization activity for the Desa Cinta Statistik (Beautiful Village) program which was continued with a Statistical Literacy Development activity which took place at the Purwosekar Village Hall, Tajinan District, Malang Regency. One of the aims of Desa Cantik is to provide an understanding of the importance of standardizing statistical data management to maintain the quality and comparability of statistical indicators so that development programs in villages/sub-districts are right on target. The Desa Cantik program is in line with one of the government's policy direction interventions through strengthening governance and mentoring adaptive villages in efforts to achieve national priority targets. 
This activity was attended by the Malang Regency Community and Village Empowerment Service (DPMD), the Malang Regency Communication and Informatics Service (Kominfo), the Acting Head of Tajinan District, the Head of Purwosekar Village and his staff, and the One RT One Kader cadres who are the spearheads of data collection at the village level. 
With good synergy between the government, village officials, and the community, it is hoped that Purwosekar Village can become an example in the implementation of statistical-based data governance.
