Public Service Standards FGD in 2025

As a form of compliance and commitment of BPS Malang Regency in providing excellent service, service standards for each type of service in the Integrated Statistical Service (PST) have been prepared. These service standards must be monitored and evaluated periodically to ensure that the service standards are still relevant and can answer the needs of service users. This is in line with BPS Malang Regency's commitment to improve the quality of public services guided by Permenpan No. 29 of 2022 concerning Monitoring and Evaluation of the Performance of Public Service Implementation (PEKPPP). The preparation and determination of service standards must involve the community and related parties as service users. The discussion of service standards in the form of focus group discussions by inviting various service users is needed to capture the needs of users from various backgrounds in order to produce representative and up-to-date service standards.

The Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on Public Service Standards at BPS Malang Regency involved community representatives as users of BPS public services, namely from the service user community, Experts/Practitioners/Academics of Related Agencies, Civil Society organizations and Mass Media. The purpose of holding this FGD activity is to identify the obstacles faced by the community using the BPS Malang Regency PST in the service process in 2025. The benefits obtained from the FGD activities are to obtain input from BPS Malang Regency PST users regarding obstacles in the service process as well as discuss joint solutions that bring together user expectations with the ability of service providers.
